Systematik est un groupe français de onze musiciens issus des milieux jazz, rock et classique qui ont une large expérience musicale et ont participé à de nombreux festivals internationaux (Montreux Jazz Festival, Jazz à la Défense, Millau en Jazz, Jazz à Vienne, Nancy Jazz Pulsations (France), Jazz à St Germain, JZ Festival (Shanghai, Chine), Festival Transe-Atlantique (Maroc).

S'inspirant d’une triple influence (Gil Evans, Maria Schneider et Jim McNeely), les arrangements s’efforcent de servir la liberté d'expression de chacun . La géométrie peu conventionnelle du groupe - moins dense qu’un big band - permet une écriture qui explore et met en valeur la pluralité des timbres instrumentaux et vagabonde à travers une palette de couleurs qui se veut la plus étendue possible.

Systematik is a French band of eleven musicians from jazz, rock and classique environments who have an extensive musical experience and participated in many international festivals (Montreux Jazz Festival, Jazz La Defense, Millau Jazz, Jazz à Vienne, Nancy Jazz Pulsations (France), Jazz à St Germain, JZ Festival (Shanghai, China), Trance-Atlantic Festival (Marocco)).

Drawing their inspiration from a three-fold influence (Gil Evans, Maria Schneider and Jim McNeely), the arrangements endeavor to serve the freedom of expression of each. The unconventional geometry of the band– which is less dense than that of a big band – enables a composition which explores and highlights the plurality of the instrumental timbres and

wanders through a palette of colors which is meant to be as wide as possible.
